Centered around the idea of discovery, we created a branded app with augmented reality at its core.

Prophecy wines are known for their vibrant tarot-inspired label artwork, illustrated by Victo Ngai. The winemaker wanted to highlight the art and meaning behind the six labels, while also providing more information about each wine varietal.

Inside the Discover Prophecy app consumers could scan their wine bottles to watch the artwork come to life and animate in dazzling 3D. The meaning behind each label was revealed, and a custom selfie filter matching the art was unlocked with each scan.

The experience also included sections highlighting the wine’s tasting notes and recommended pairings, along with recipe videos.
