If you could travel back in time and pass along some wisdom to the former you, what would you say? That’s what we asked UCLA Extension students, alumni, and instructors in our “1,000 Lessons” Campaign.

While doing research we couldn’t help but notice the incredible caliber of people associated with the extended education school. Graduates landed jobs writing for top TV shows (Game of Thrones!) and designing interiors for global hotel properties. Instructors were industry veterans—hailing from jobs at the White House, NASA, and producing shows for HBO. There were success stories from all walks of life.

These remarkable individuals became the pillars of our campaign. We asked them to share a piece of knowledge they had gained throughout their career or education, creating a collection of snackable lessons. These teachable moments came together to form our “1,000 Lessons” campaign. Each creative execution featured one of the mini-lessons, and drove back to the campaign microsite where you could see them all alongside the impressive faculty and alumni, learn more about the school, and sign up for classes.
