For CES, the Google team built an immersive playground, complete with ball pit. Our task was to stretch the physical experience to the digital world.
The objective: increase earned conversation and excitement around the event on social. On top of building hype with posts on Google’s owned channels, we gave event-goers a reason to share with a ball pit cam. Shot on the Google Pixel in partnership with Smilebooth, the branded images were sent to attendees’ phones. An AR ball pit selfie lens let fans at home join in on the fun, while simultaneously entertaining attendees waiting in long lines to enter the experience.
